With an upgrader for items, you can get numerous bonuses. These can include a variety of stats, as well as numerous bonuses. These bonuses can be applied to weapons or armor, as well trinkets. They can be used to boost a character's abilities or to give a new dimension of variety to their appearance.
The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to increase the level of their equipment by spending currencies at an item upgrader NPC. This system first came into play in Mists of Pandaria, and was further developed in Warlords of Draenor. It's a convenient method to boost the level of your equipment, allowing you to skip the grind and avoid a bunch wipes in Mythic+ Dungeons.
When an item is improved its basic type will change. Upgrading a normal item creates an Exceptional item and upgrading an Exceptional item will result in an Elite version of the base item. The item will be able to keep the same stats it had prior to upgrading, but will also gain an additional benefit from its new base type. This bonus is randomly selected. It could be a weapon with a greater damage range, a faster reloading speed, or an increased defense roll.
The amount of extras gained when upgrading depends on the amount of upgrades performed. Each upgrade will boost the extras by up to 3 points. Each upgrade will also boost the stats of the main game by +1.
Some upgrades also give you an additional random boost in addition to stat boosts. These secondary boosts can be very valuable and should be considered when deciding which items to upgrade. Certain boosts can only be used in certain builds (such a Whistan's Shield for FB Sorcs) Some are valuable to collectors.
Some items come with built-in boos that is not useful when upgraded. For instance, the Goldwrap has an extra slots for potion. These are often upgraded to add value to a nearly perfect item.
Costs
There are a few expenses related to upgrades of items. The first is the cost for the upgrade. This price is contingent on the new ilvl of the item and the number of perks it will gain and can be costly. Upgrades to higher levels (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.
The second is the cost of items needed to upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and up) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These items can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.
The process of upgrading an item is complicated and takes time. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take as long as 8 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the item's new ilvl bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, as well as other important stats. In some cases, the upgrade will grant additional benefits that can be chosen from a variety of benefits.
In rare instances, the upgrade will replace only the highest-costing benefits. The upgrader could also make other modifications to the item, for example, changing the type of damage it deals to its weapon or removing a operative or unwieldy function. These modifications are based on an item's ilvl and may require special materials, for instance the adamantine.
Success Rate
The upgrading of an item is dependent on chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it will not succeed. However there are a few things which can improve the chances of success. These include the use of an item known as an Upgrade Pity or the addition of additional components to the upgrade.
An Upgrade Pity is a product you can buy from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of an upgrade's success by some percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus that certain items offer but is more stable. It can be added to any weapon or armor and can be used three times.
It is also possible to add a range of additional items to the upgrade, thereby increasing its chance of success. These are displayed in a window above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the largest amount of material that can be added is displayed directly above the + button in the user interface.

A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version thereof, can be used to boost the likelihood of a successful upgrade. This item is useful in the event that your item or weapon is near or has reached the highest level of its tier. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next level without the risk of it breaking.
If an upgrade fails the upgrade will be reversed to its previous state. This is often a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. It is an excellent idea to save an upgrade for when you are close to the highest level of an item, and use it as an option last resort.
Kafra has a number of products that can be used to increase the chance of a successful upgrade. For example upgrading an equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium repeatedly will give you more chance of success. Also, increasing the chances to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also increase the chance of success.
Failure Rate
The upgrader for items allows players to add an extra slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment to an item. It is important to keep in mind that not all items are upgradeable. The rank of an item will determine the speed at which it can be upgraded and transformed. The higher the rank of an item is, the more Zeny items will be needed to upgrade it.
The system is expensive particularly if you are seeking top-of-the-line equipment. It can cost between 100,000 z and 100 Carnium to upgrade a weapon or armor. The chance of success also decreases as you climb in rank. However, you can make use of cash shop items to increase the chance of upgrading an item successfully.
Normal Upgrade is a basic upgrade that can be applied to armor, weapons and bikes. It consumes different grades of core depending on the kind of item. Generally, lower grade items will require lower grade cores and higher-end items will require higher priced ones.
To perform an upgrade that is normal it is necessary to first have the appropriate number of cores. Click the button next to the item you want to upgrade after you have the cores. The upgrade window will show a percentage indicator of your chances of success. This percentage is determined by the level of upgrade and the core nature of the item you have selected.
You can also choose an insurance policy that will safeguard your equipment in the event of a failure. This protection is not free however it will cost less than the cost of a new item. The safeguard can be used only once per upgrade, and it will not expire unless it is re-used.
The interface for the item upgrader can be somewhat confusing, but not difficult to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left, and the upgrade window is located on the right. The arrows to the left of the UI indicate the various steps in the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to get assistance if you're not sure what you're doing. The upgrade process can take as long as five minutes.
